Background
I have been blessed with a unique view of the world: I see it wrapped in magic, mystery and miracles. I was born an artist with a wild heart, using drawing and painting for self expression since I was little. Deeply in love with the natural world, I have always been enthralled with its wild spirit, grace and power. In this I have found my comfort and happiness. I have always found myself.
Style
I enjoy using graphite, color pencil, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic or oil paints, depending on what I hear from my subject. I like to take a realistic approach to my work and add that enchanting element that I perceive. Each medium has a unique way of evoking the passion and wilder spirit that lives in us all!
Process
Working with animals most of my life has greatly influenced me. They are marvelous souls that resonate through the human spirit without words, yet flow through my medium with inspired strokes and colors. Through my art, we can speak as one, bringing joy and fresh perspective to others.
Each piece is a journey that I enjoy embarking on as the piece comes to life. It is especially rewarding to share this with others and having them relate to the spellbinding world I see.
